Vajpayee honoured with India's highest civilian award

Finance minister Arun Jaitley confirms that the Bharat Ratna has been presented to Vajpayee. Jaitley says the award was given at Vajpayee's residence since he has been unwell and doesn't leave home.

Vajpayee is now 90.

Jaitley pays eulogies to Vajpayee and says PM Modi, former PM Manmohan Singh, LK Advani, vice-president Hamid Ansari and several chief ministers were present at the event.
