BSF foils infiltration bid in J&K's Samba and Kathua district
March 27, 2015  20:07
Two separate infiltration bids by militants on the international border in Samba and Kathua districts of Jammu and Kashmir were foiled by the Border Security Force troops in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

"BSF troops noticed suspicious movement alongside two border outposts early Wednesday morning on the IB in Samba and Kathua area. Troops fired at the insurgents forcing them to retreat back,' an army source said.

After the terror attacks on a police station in Kathua and an army camp in Samba districts last week authorities have maintained a high alert in the area.
