Just in: Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan begin their news conference.

Yogendra Yadav addresses the press meet first.

Quick takes:

Talking about the party, Yadav says, "AAP is a party unlike any other in the nation. People have high expectations from AAP. It is a result of a movement to cleanse politics."

Conceding that a "lot has happened in the past weeks", Yadav said, conditional resignation and an actual resignation were two different things.

"But we are glad that because of us a conversation has started, that issues are being raised.

"National Council is not a place where a decision on the National Convener can be taken, that is done in National Executive.

"The question is if AAP will become just like any other party in the nation, or become like the BSP or a regional party.

"Issues raised by us are not personal ones, but of the party. Ours is a struggle to save the soul of the AAP.  Trust and hope have broken in the events of the past one month.

"Kejriwal's post is a non issue, never sought his ouster. Arvind is being misguided."

National Executive will decide if it wants Prashant Bhushan and me.
