Congress leader Hansraj Bhardwaj spills the beans on the dissent within the floundering party.

Former law minister and governor of Karnataka, Bhardwaj, writes his party's epitaph saying, people are not ready to listen to the Congress any more. "The Congress won't rise again and the Congress is responsible," he says.

Refusing to place the blame at party president Sonia Gandha's doorstep, he says, "Main us bechari (Sonia Gandhi) ko koi dosh nahin deta. I don't blame Sonia Gandhi for anything," he said.

He however does blame dynastic politics and the inner coeterie and therefore alludes to Rahul Gandhi's style of functioning by sidelining senior leaders.

"Shiela Dikshit (former Delhi CM) is sitting at home now. She did good work in Delhi. This party isn't anyone's personal property. Congress took the senior experienced leaders by the ear and took them out.

"The new forces are very strong. We had supported Rajiv Gandhi even after he died. When Sonia-ji came everyone was encouraged. Imagine the amount of foul play when a man like Manmohan Singh is summoned by the court," he said.

Bhardwaj had trained his guns at former Union Minister P Chidambaram of "not doing enough to stop the 2G scam".
