Navy's 9-ship rescue ops for downed chopper crew

Nine ships including navy frigates INS Satpura and INS Betwa engaged in search for the two missing men from the downed Dornier off the Goa coast.

An Indian Navy surveillance aircraft crashed about 25 nautical miles south-west off Goa with two officers on-board missing.

A Dornier maritime surveillance aircraft, which was on a routine training sortie, crashed on Tuesday at around 11 pm and two officers on board have gone missing, navy sources said.
