Furore over Singapore bakery's Lee Kuan Yew bun

A popular bakery chain had to apologise and stop the sale of a commemorative bun it put on sale to mark the death of Singapore's founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew after netizens criticised the move as disgusting attempt to make profits. 

BreadTalk said in its Facebook page that it has stopped the sale of buns meant to commemorate Lee.  The baker's move to sell the commemorative bun was criticised on social media as being in poor taste. Some people in Facebook said it was a disgusting attempt to cash in on the passing of the founding father of the nation.
