Students, on exchange programme, reportedly on plane

Sixteen pupils and two teachers from a single German school are feared among the dead. Bild newspaper reports that the group from Joseph-Knig-Gymnasium school in the Ruhr area of Germany were on their way back from a student exchange. 

The school whose pupils are feared dead in the plane crash is in Haltern, in the Ruhr area of Germany. The student exchange was taking place for the sixth time. The school had collaborated for several years with the Institute Giola in Llinars del Valls, near Barcelona.
