First major disaster involving Germanwings

While Germanwings may be a low-cost airlines, this is the first major disaster it has been involved in. In 1993, a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Warsaw overshot the runway and crashed. The plane caught fire and 2 people were killed - a co-pilot and a passenger, reports the Telegraph.
