Aircraft lost signal at 6800 ft

The aircraft reportedly lost signal at 6800 ft, while some reports suggested that the plane was over 20 years old.

The plane belonged to Germanwings, an affiliate of German airline Lufthansa, travelling between Barcelona and Dusseldorf.
