Against the backdrop of Pakistan's top diplomat in India meeting separatist Hurryiat leaders, the BJP today cautioned Pakistan that its High Commission here should not become a centre of 'anti-India' activity and said there is no scope for any third-party intervention in bilateral issues.

The BJP said its government had made a beginning in improving ties with Pakistan but it has so far not got an encouraging response in resolving bilateral issues without third party intervention.

"India is a free country. But Pakistan must ensure that its high commission should not become a centre of anti-India activities," BJP national Secretary Shrikant Sharma said.

He said Pakistan should take a lesson from India's action when it cancelled talks with it after they convened a meeting with separatist Kashmiri leaders.
