Modi at martyrs' rally: Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev continue to inspire

PM Modi at Husainiwala, Punjab, pays tributes to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, who were hanged to death 83 years ago.

Wearing a yellow turban, Modi says he salutes Punjab for "sacrificing so many of its children for the nation -- be it in the freedom struggle or the army."

"This is an inspiring moment for me as I get the opportunity to pay homage to Sardar Bhagat Singhji, Sukhdev and Rajguru, who continue to inspire every Indian citizen. Their names have the strength to inspire so many people to live and die for the nation.

"I have come here today to salute the great tradition of those brave freedom fighters."
