JKLF chief Yasin Malik to attend Pakistan Day function

JKLF chairman Yasin Malik will be attending the Pakistan Day function today. Speaking to the media, Malik sais, "This is a routine function and I am attending it. Kashmir is a conflict zone, there is militancy and there is political movement too. We are supporting the peaceful movement. If we want people of India and Pakistan to live in peace, then the Kashmir matter must be settled."

Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir separatist leader Masarat Alam congratulated Pakistan and requested them to keep their support on for Kashmir's jaddo-jehad.

Alam who was invited for Pakistan National Day celebrations at the High Commission in Delhi on Monday, will not be attending the event. "I won't be attending due to health issues, will send my colleagues," he said.
