Maharashtra Child Commission directs the Mumbai police to register an FIR against Shah Rukh Khan in the Wankhede brawl matter.

In 2012, the Bollywood superstar got into an ugly spat with Mumbai Cricket Association officials at the end of an IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, in Mumbai.

According to MCA officials, Shah Rukh, who came to the Wankhede stadium at the end of the match, first got into a fight with the security men and when the MCA staff intervened he threatened them as well.

The Mumbai Police had registered a non-cognisable offence against Shah Rukh and three others in connection with the May 16, 2012, incident involving them and officials of the Mumbai Cricket Association at Wankhede Stadium.

SRK was banned for five years from entering the MCA premises, including the Wankhede Stadium, by the Association's Managing Committee, headed by the late Vilasrao Deshmukh.
