Karnataka Chief Minister K Siddaramaiah cold shouldered a proposal to hosting an AICC session in Bengaluru, sources tell our Delhi correspondent.

This has caused immense strain in 10 Janpath. All eyes are on the crucial AICC meet, likely to be held in the last week of April, where Rahul is expected to be elevated.

AICC has now informally decided to have the meet in New Delhi. Meanwhile, Himachal CM Virbhadra Singh offered Shimla as an alternate venue.
