LDF supporter dies of heart attack in police crackdown outside Kerala assembly

An LDF supporter has died of a heart attack in the police crackdown on protestors outside the Kerala assembly.
There were massive protests by the opposition in the Kerala assembly after state finance minister K M Mani, facing corruption charges in the bar licence issue, presented the budget this morning.
Ugly scenes erupted as opposition's Left Democratic Front lawmakers engaged in a scuffle with the watch and ward staff.
The Speaker's chair thrown out of podium, his mike was flung and entrances to the assembly were blocked.
Two MLAs -- Communist Party of India-Marxist's TV Rajesh and CPI's K Suleka were injured. Protestors continued outside the assembly as well. Police lathi charged demonstrators and used water cannons to disperse them.
