Jaya's photo removed from AIADMK MP's desk
March 13, 2015  13:28
Navaneethakrishnan, AIADMK leader in the Rajya Sabha, was asked to remove a portrait of former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalitha on his desk.

It was an embarrassment for an MP to be asked by an official of the rank of deputy secretary to remove the portrait as it's a 'foreign material' placed at an MP's seat without the permission of the chairman.

This is an MP who has always paid obeisance to Jaya's portrait, tenderly touching it to his forehead when the house is in session.

MPs who sit next to Navaneethakrishnan used to heckle him and laugh at this act.
