AGAIN Islamabad court orders release of 26/11 plotter Lakhvi

And yet again... Islamabad high court today ordered the release of mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai attacks Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi, declaring his detention illegal, Express News reported.

Lakhvi is accused of being involved in planning, financing and executing the Mumbai attacks in 2008.

The Islamabad deputy commissioner had issued Lakhvis detention orders under the Maintenance of Public Order on December 18, 2014 immediately after he was granted post-arrest bail by an anti-terrorism court. Since then it has been extended thrice. Currently, Lakhvi is under detention in Adiala Jail.
