Sonia to hold crucial meet as Manmohan caught in coal-gate heat

Sonia Gandhi will be meeting the Congress Working Committe members and her party MPs at the AICC headquarters at 24, Akbar Road.

According to reports, the meeting is likely to begin at 9:30 a.m.

The meeting assumes significance as it takes place a day after former prime minister Manmohan Singh was summoned in the coal blocks allocation scam. Dr Singh, however, yesterday said that he is open to legal scrutiny and truth will prevail in the matter.
