Prof, held for circulating Mamata cartoon, wins case against Bengal govt

Jadavpur University professor, Ambikesh Mahapatra, who was arrested in 2012 for allegedly circulating a social media clip lampooning West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wins a case against the state government in the high court.

The court has ordered the government to compensate the professor.
