Don't need to inform PMO on everything: PDP on Alam's release

The Peoples Democratic Party has hit back at the Centre over the release of hardliner Masarat Alam. Sources within the party have expressed their ire over the issue, saying, "We don't have to share every decision with the Prime Minister's Office."

Earlier in the day, PM Modi expressed his outrage and anguish over Alam's release in Lok Sabha saying that the government had not been informed of the decision and that the BJP-led government would not do anything to jeopardise the security or integrity of India.
