Mithi river overflow could lead to more flooding in Mumbai

The water level in Mumbai's Mithi river has gone up to 2.5 metres, and hovers dangerously below its overflow mark of 2.7 metres.   

With no let-up in rains, the river could spill over any time, and flood the already-waterlogged areas.
