You illegally cancelled my passport: Lalit Modi responds to Chidambaram

Former IPL chief Lalit Modi responded to P Chidambaram's press conference. In a tweet, the scandal tainted Modi said, "You illegally cancelled my passport. The Honorable high court gave it back to me and said to your govt -- no ball."

The response comes in wake of Chidambaram's press conference in which he said that Modi was living in UK without a valid passport. The former finance minister added, "In 2011, Lalit Modi's passport was cancelled at the request of the Enforcement Directorate. Why did Sushma feel Lalit Modi should have a UK travel doc and not an Indian travel document?"
