At a press conference,
P Chidambaram questioned to the National Democratic Alliance government regarding the Lalit Modi-Sushma Swaraj controversy.
"Who took the decision not to challenge Lalit Modi's appeal to get his passport back? That's a million dollar question," he asked.
"How was Lalit Modi staying in UK when his passport was cancelled, why wasnt he being sent back to India," he asked. "Why is the government despite repeated demands not releasing letters exchanged with the UK Chancellor of Exchequer?"
