Buzz inside BJP hq over PMO's silence

L'affaire Sushma Swaraj has led to a bunch of unanswered questions in the BJP head office.

For one, with Amit Shah's son contesting the Gujarat cricket board elections, could the BJP president's expression of support to Sushma mean that Amit Shah is now close to the 'chhota' Modi?

And, why has the Prime Minister's Office kept quiet over the incident so far? This is particularly puzzling, say insiders, since the PMO had reacted strongly to an Economic Times report about Home Minister Rajnath Singh's son and Modi had even pulled up those thought to have leaked the story. Why has the PMO not similarly pulled up those who leaked the Sushma story to TV, they want to know.
