Blue corner notice was sent to all airports in 2012 against Lalit Modi: ED

Officials from the Enforcement Directorate issued a statement saying that in fact in 2012, a blue corner notice was sent to all airports against Lalit Modi. The statement read, "Blue corner notice was sent to all airports in 2012 and not to Lalit Modi. Such notices are never sent to individuals or allegedly accused persons, airports were instructed to catch Lalit Modi.' The statement directly contradicts Lalit Modi's lawyer who at a press conference held in Mumbai said that there was no blue-corner notice against his client, the former IPL chairman and that he was not a fugitive of the law.
