Angry Sushma decides to avoid the media henceforth

Monday brings a fresh week of developments in the capital's corridors of power but predictably, the buzz today was all about Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj lending a helping hand for Lalit Modi's travel plans.

It was the talk of conversation both in South Block, which houses the ministry of external affairs, as well as the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.

Diplomats were agog over the developments in the Lalit Modi case, while senior joint secretaries could be seen quietly discussing with their fellow officials if the information was leaked by insiders or if it came from London.

For Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, in the eye of the storm as it were, it was an abnormal Monday which wa capped by her angry tweet about a senior television journalist.

Sushma believes the leak was the dirty work of an insider, and spits venom at one particular TV news channel (no prizes for guessing which).

She is also learnt to have decided to avoid the media in future at all costs.
