National Conference leader Mustafa Kamal on Pakistan flags being waved in Srinagar: "Pak flag chadhaane se kya fark padega? Ab Hindustan ki sarkar zyaada hi tilmila jaati hai, zyaada hi pareshaan ho jaati hai. Jhande kisne lagaye, yeh kehna kafi nahi. Agency barabar militancy ke agaaz se kaam kar rahi hai taaki yahan rehnewale badnaam ho.What difference does it make if Pakistan flags are unfurled? The Indian government gets a bit too upset. It's not enough to say who unfurled the flags. The militancy has been prompting agencies so that Kashmiris are maligned."

Hurriyat chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani Sunday said Pakistan flags "would continue to be hoisted' in the Kashmir Valley, days after Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh warned of strict action against those indulging in such acts. "Pakistan is our benefactor. It is supporting the right of self determination to Kashmir. People here love Pakistan," Geelani said addressing a seminar at his Hyderpora residence in Srinagar.

"The Pakistan flag is being hoisted in Kashmir since 1947. And it (Pakistan flag) would continue to be hoisted in future as well."
