Yakub Memon's body on its way to Marine Lines for burial

The Janaaze ki Namaz for Yakub Memon at the Mahim dargah is over. The hearse carrying his body is now on its way to the Bada Kabaristan at Charni Road.
Syed Firdaus Ashraf/Rediff.com reports that accompanying the hearse to the burial grounds will be a large contingent of police and the RAF. Security outside the Bada Kabaristan is already in place.
At least 20 PCR vans are accompanying the body. Some male members are believed to be in the hearse. The Mumbai police put at least 35,000 men on the streets hours after the Supreme Court handed out the death warrant to Yakub last evening.
