Security upped in Rameswaram ahead of Kalam's funeral

Meanwhile, there is another funeral of a very different man today in Rameswaram. Former president APJ Abdul Kalam will be laid to rest at 11 am at his hometown in seashore town of Tamil Nadu.

Ahead of PM Modi's visit for the funeral, coastal security group deploys additional patrol boats and all terrain vehicles too have been deployed. A special train has left from Madurai to Rameswaram so that public can pay their last respects to Kalam.
