Hearse with Yakub's body reaches his Mahim home

Just in: Yakub Memon's body has reached Mahim. A hearse carrying Memon's body left Mumbai airport towards the Mahim dargah, near his residence, the Al Hussaini building. Yakub Menon's family, including his Sulaiman and cousin Usman, who accompanied the body from Nagpur, are in the hearse.

In Nagpur, immediately after the post-mortem, Memon's body was wrapped in a 'Kafan' (shroud) and placed in a tightly sealed coffin. Later, the body was taken to the airport and flown to Mumbai. The mortal remains of Memon will be laid to rest in a cemetery at Marine Lines after the last prayer 'Namaj-e-Janaja' later today.
