The ministry of home affairs has stated that the three terrorists who opened fire in Gurdaspur on a moving bus before taking over a police station in Dina Nagar town belong to the Pakistan-based Laskhar-e-Tayiba.

Earlier, some speculated that the terrorists behind the attacks could have belonged to the separatist movement of Khalistan. On Monday morning, the three LeT terrorists sprayed bullets on locals, killing 3 civilians and 4 policemen, including a superintendent of police.
