The Lok Sabha secretariat has asked Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra to explain his Facebook post on the Parliament disruptions.

This comes after a privilege notice was moved in Parliament against Vadra on Thursday.

Some ruling party members had raised a storm in the House over Vadra's Facebook post, in which he had allegedly made some castigating remarks against parliamentarians.

"Parliament begins and so do their petty diversionary political tactics...

"People of India are not fool. Regret to see India led by such so-called leaders !!," Vadra had said in a Facebook post.

Responding to comments on his post, Vadra had said "we need to win over this kind of dictatorship and intrusion in a democratic India. Have nothing to hide, so will fight this till they stop falsely accusing me !!".

BJP's Prahlad Joshi spoke on his privilege motion against Vadra.
