Yakub Memon's family meets him in Nagpur jail

1993 blasts convict Yakub Memon's family on Thursday arrived in Nagpur to meet him.

The Supreme Court had on Tuesday dismissed Memon's curative plea. Brother to main accused Tiger Memon, who is still absconding and is believed to be in Pakistan, Yakub Memon will be hanged at 7 am on July 30 in Nagpur Central Jail for his involvement in Mumbai blasts that claimed 257 lives and left 713 injured.

After the hanging, his body would be handed over to his family members, police said.

The Mumbai Police is making special security arrangements to deal with any possible fallout on law and order front after Memon's hanging.
