Just in: Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi have called off a silent protest outside Parliament, for now.
The protest was against BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, Vasundhara Raje and Shivraj Singh Chouhan, whose resignations the party has been pressing for in the wake of the Lalit Modi controversy and the Vyapam scam.
The protest was cancelled after External Affairs Minister Sushama Swaraj threatened to expose a senior Congress leader in a tweet this morning.
CNN-IBN reports that the protest was called off as the Congress is divided over the demand for resignations.
