BJP ready for debate, Cong running away: Venkaiah Naidu

The monsoon session of Parliament began on a stormy note on Tuesday with the Congress raising the Lalit Modi issue in the Rajya Sabha. Lok Sabha was adjourned as soon as it began. Congress is all set to corner the Modi govt on day 2 of the monsoon session over Lalitgate and Vyapam issue and is adamant on the 'first resignation, then discussion' policy.

The BJP has maintained that even though Sushma Swaraj is ready to make a statement, the Congress is running away from a debate.
