External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj tells BJP Parliamentary Party she offered no help to Lalit Modi and also defends the MP govt over the Vyapam issue, BJP spokesperson Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi says. The Prime Minister tells BJP MPs that they should be proud of government's work.

Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha has resumed after a 15-minute break. BJP chief Mayawati slams the government over Lalit Modi and the Vyapam issue saying both are national issues, not state issues. Parliamentary Affairs minister Venkaiah Naidu had said that state subjects would not be allowed for discussion.
