All parties should move forward on Land Bill: PM at all-party meet

PM Narendra Modi at the all-party meet addresses the biggest roadblock in the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament -- the land bill -- and says, all parties should move forward on the Land bill.

The Opposition is all set to corner the Narendra Modi government over the Lalit Modi-Vasundhara Raje-Sushma Swaraj mess as well as the Vyapam issue. The all-party meet was therefore called by the Centre, just a day ahead of the Monsoon session of Parliament, to work out a strategy to ensure logjams and disruptions during the session are few and far between.

The meeting has been convened by Parliamentary Affairs minister Venkaiah Naidu.
