Which is why the Congress leadership is happy to allow former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh (73) to remain in the shadows. Singh wants to launch a regional party with the BJP's help, but Rahul Gandhi has chosen to turn a blind eye from such political betrayal.

This is because Rahul has already chosen Ravneet Singh alias Bittoo a 32-year-old two-time Congress MP to head the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.
