NASA to release new Pluto flyby images, science findings today

US space agency, NASA, will on Friday release new images of the dwarf planet Pluto taken by New Horizons Long Range Reconnaissance Imager during Tuesday's historic flyby.

The American space agency is holding a media briefing at 1 pm EDT (10:30 PM IST) today, July 17, to reveal new images of the icy world and to discuss new science findings from July 14 New Horizons' Pluto flyby.

The briefing will be held in James E Webb Auditorium at the NASA Headquarters
