Learn from Vajpayee, consult allies, Shiv Sena tells Modi govt

The Shiv Sena has demanded the government hold a meeting with NDA constituents ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament due to begin on Monday. The Sena said former PM and senior BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee always consulted the Sena ahead of Parliament sessions, but this government has chosen to ignore allies.

The Sena complained that allies are not consulted as they used to be earlier and reminded the BJP government both at the Centre and Maharashtra that the party has always stayed with the BJP even when it was not in power for 10 years
