Why is the Cong silent on Vasundhara, Sushma?

The sound of silence in the Congress is baffling.

After a relentless name-andshame campaign against Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia and External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj in the Lalit Modi case, the Congress is suddenly mum.

So, what's the inside story?
Did someone intervene and get the agenda changed?
And why is senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh who spearheaded the campaign against Vasundhara Raje now maintaining a stoic silence?

A section of the Congress in Rajasthan and also in Madhya Pradesh have been pressuring Rahul Gandhi not to go overboard in the campaign against Vasundhara, as her relatives in the Congress are also petitioners about the properties.

Political circles say that while the apex court has ordered a CBI probe in the Vyapam scam, the Dholpur palace ownership issue ended up as a damp squib. The Congress now feels isolated and feels the Dholpur issue could in fact turn up some nasty truths for them. Which is why they've dropped it like a hot potato.
