Delhi govt comes up with another TV ad, targets Centre
July 10, 2015  02:05
Unfazed by opposition's criticism over its Rs 526 crore advertisement budget, the AAP government has released a new TV commercial attacking the Centre.

The advertisement, with the tagline 'Wo pareshaan karte rahein, hum kaam karte rahein' (they troubled us but we continued with our work), highlights the achievements made by the Arvind Kejriwal government since coming to power.

The 1.27-minute video is being shown on all major news channels several times a day. The new advertisement comes at a time when the government is under attack from both BJP and Congress for setting aside Rs 526 crore for information and publicity in the budget.

The ad starts with several newspaper clippings on stories on the recent confrontation with the Centre over different issues, and points out that despite the "plotting", the Delhi government has been able to do good work.
