Mail Today reports: The father of untraceable Coast Guard navigator Deputy Commandant MK Soni has called into question the efforts put in by the Centre to trace the Dornier plane and its three crew members exactly a month after the aircraft disappeared.

Radheshyam Soni shot off a letter with three pointed questions to none less than Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting him to ensure that the plane's disappearance does not remain a mystery forever.

While returning to Chennai around 21.23 hours on June 8, the CG791 vanished off the radar screens of the Coast Guard personnel at Trichy, around 95 nautical miles south off Chennai. All efforts to trace its whereabouts since then have been fruitless.

In his short letter to the PM, Soni wrote, "Request you to look into this matter with utmost urgency. The search process needs to be fast-tracked and we should do whatever is required to get the results ASAP."
