Congress leader Shashi Tharoor could soon be subjected to a polygraph test in connection with the death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar, media reports said yesterday. Senior police officers, however, denied the reports saying they had no such plans yet, The Hindu reports.

Tharoor's office too said that the former minister had received no such request from the police, and that he was willing to cooperate with them. The Special Investigation Team  tasked with probing the case has already conducted a polygraph test on six people closely associated with Tharoor.
