Shame! Convict Jayalalithaa on Tamil Nadu tableau

It was AIADMK chief J. Jayalalithaa all the way on government floats on display at the Republic Day celebrations in Chennai on Monday. Almost every tableau had large images of Jaya, who had to quit chief ministership last year following conviction in a corruption case.

Jayalalithaa lost her Assembly seat and the CM post in September, 2014 after she was sentenced to a four-year jail term and slapped with a fine of Rs.100 crore in a disproportionate assets case by a court in Bangalore.
