The success of this relationship is important for our progress and for peace and stability around the world. I see renewed energy in our engagement, thank you for setting the tone last September.

"We have decided to take defence ties to a new level. The nuclear deal was the centrepiece of our relationship. Six years after we signed the civil nuclear deal, we are moving towards commercial cooperation.

India, US will deepen security ties to fight terrorism."
