Manmohan meet on Obama wishlist

Barack Obama is visiting India this weekend at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but the US President also wants to meet someone almost forgotten eight months out of power: Manmohan Singh.

American officials have indicated to their Indian counterparts that the President is keen to meet the former Prime Minister while he is here, sources said. It is unclear yet, the sources said, how a meeting can be arranged and whether it will be a one-to-one interaction or with others in the room. Read more
