With a net worth of Rs 16 crore, Congress' Ajay Maken is the richest chief ministerial candidate this time, and also the most prosperous with his family's net worth increasing four-fold since the Lok Sabha elections in 2009. Before the general elections last April, the Makens were worth Rs 6.1 crore.
