Bedi was critical of BJP just a year ago: Digvijaya

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh today took potshots at BJP's chief ministerial candidate in Delhi Kiran Bedi, wondering how she joined a party which she had 'attacked just a year ago'.

The AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh affairs sought to know whether the IPS officer- turned-politician had "realised the truth about BJP in just one year".

Bedi, who was a key member of the Anna Hazare-led movement for a strong Lokpal Bill, joined the saffron outfit last week.

Stating that Congress had undertaken several infrastructure projects like metro rail, development of roads and welfare of slum-dwellers during its 15-year rule in the national capital, Singh hoped his party would put up a good show in the February 7 elections.
