PM conveys support to stronger economic ties with Japan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed his strong support for closer economic ties with Japan and conveyed his greetings to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for his recent victory in general elections.

Modi conveyed his support when visiting Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida, who arrived here today on a two-day visit, called on the Prime Minister and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Modi conveyed his congratulations to Abe on his recent victory in the general elections in Japan, an official statement said here.
